This year's display will feature quilts made for Quilts of Valor. As a part of this event, there will be a weekly ceremony during which a new quilt on display will be awarded to a local veteran. The mission of Quilts of Valor is to "cover all service members and veterans, touched by war, with a comforting and healing quilt." There will be featured quilters as well as indigo and embroidery workshops, plus workshops and lectures on topics like handling antique quilts and the history of the American sewing machine. There will be lots to see and do!
